Mishra, through his lawyer, denied the allegations and stated that he was being targeted unnecessarily. The court has also asked for the authenticity of the material presented to be verified.
The court noted that the two were well aware of the JJB proceedings and executed their conspiracy to murder the victim "in a perfectly planned manner".
